I've been playing with my Play series today. Finally revisited after becoming disheartened. Here's one of the little sketches for the set of three. I'll upload a little video soon of how I got to where I am now. The background was the most time consuming bit. I lost interest, revisited it with more washes, gold leaf & paint, lost interest again, then went to the Royal Show & played on a Carousel.
